Right Side Up is a foodservice equipment specialty company providing complete equipment specification and design services to all types of foodservice companies and the hospitality industry. Our extensive range of work includes projects involving facilities such as hotels, institutions, fine dining, ethnic restaurants, fast food, bakeries, grocery stores, religious organizations, catering, test and shared kitchens, corporate dining, brew pubs, bars and casinos.

We assist with total construction cost budgets, not just for food service equipment, but the entire project to assist with feasibility studies and financing. We use the versatile AutoCAD program to interface with architectural firms for seamless integration of our floor plans and engineering work. We provide you, your architect, and many food service equipment dealers accurate food service equipment plans detailing the electrical and mechanical requirements of the project.

For jobs we can provide our services as a specialty contractor or sub-contractor to help manage a project from concept to completion. We have a “can do” approach and will bring in all of the necessary trades to get your job done right and on time.

The roots of Right Side Up generated from Chicago’s West Madison Street just after the Great Depression. This historic and colorful corridor to the West Side (Skid Row) once had more than 30 restaurant equipment dealerships providing the far reaches of the Tri-State area. Owner Dave Eidenberg’s grandfather started the General Store Fixture Company in 1933.
